Seduction, Subversion, and the Status Quo: Gender Roles in Judith

In April 2005, I completed my undergraduate Honors thesis, a requirement for the Honors English program at the University of Arizona. Titled "Seduction, Subversion, and the Status Quo: Gender Roles in Judith", it is an examination of the character of Judith in three different retellings of the biblical heroine's story. If I were to write it again today, it would probably be rather different, but I'm still proud of the work I put into it. A number of my friends have expressed an interest in reading it, so I'm making it available here as a .pdf file.
